Hi !

Someone sent a good video about how to make a Paypal Invoice to avoid scams !



It's not like "omg the solution for our problems" but still a good thing to think about, on future, and for now, the best way we have to avoid scammers (probably). 

I also found a journal, that explains some stuff too !

Hi !

I don't know if you guys are aware of all this Pixlett / ToxicMutagen thing that's going on... if you aren't, here is a small summary of what is happening: this person was making false paypal chargebacks against artist they have commissioned here in deviantART. (that's what I understood by all the journals I've been reading). I never drew something for this person, so I'm actually glad, but at the same time I'm worried.

By what I was reading on the journals of who received the false chargebacks, they had to pay it, even tho that's a false thing.

I've also doing some small research on google, and apparently, it's impossible to avoid chargebacks (even false ones), because paypal will always be on the side of the buyer, mostly for digital medias (like drawings, since there's no way to actually proof person got the product). I've read paypal won't allow you to change your info once you have negative balance, and also will take the money after some days, being the only way to avoid paying the false chargeback to cancel your credit card. that's all is pretty horrible, you know. I'm very afraid.

So, if you know, by any chance, a way to avoid false paypal chargebacks, would you share your knowloge? This would surely be very helpful !!

If it can't be helped, I'll change some of my commissions politics on future, and be very more restrict about the customers I'll work for... what is actually horrible too, because both I'll get less money, and less persons will be able to get my drawings... i know it's unfair, but I'm really afraid, like... a lot.
